Consumer product builder currently working on Storay: a personal inventory app with the long-term ambition of becoming the underlying asset graph for how people catalogue and exchange their belongings. Studying Computational Social Science @ UvA. AI/ML engineer by trade, but what I care about is using technical tools to answer social questions and build products with real-world impact — tech that meets people where they already are, not the other way around.

What I'm splitting my time across today — both are mine.
AI engineering
Where the AI engineering chops come from — production agents, RAG and internal tools.
Designed and implemented a 4-step conversational coaching flow using the OpenRouter API (Claude Sonnet), with structured prompts for empathetic, autonomy-supportive responses
Built full-stack with Next.js 15 App Router, SQLite, and bcrypt session auth
Set up a RAG pipeline with cosine similarity retrieval, ingesting Untire Now's clinical content library to ground AI responses in evidence-based material
Implemented LLM-as-judge evaluation (async quality scoring on tone, flow compliance, and safety) and per-request observability (latency, tokens, cost) for research and iteration
Integrated a risk detection protocol that overrides the coaching flow on distress signals and surfaces crisis resources
